Mashed with a simple blend of local two row pilsner malt along with a dash of dextrin malt for a boosted bod and foam stability. Steeped on whole oysters and oyster shells, selected specifically by our friends at Jettie Rae’s Oyster House of Asheville, North Carolina.
An unlikely ingredient, the oyster has been a historic and traditional beer addition in the British Isles for centuries. Commonly paired or brewed with porters or stouts, we have long dreamt of incorporating these bivalved beauties into a crisp pilsner. Adding layers of minerality and texture, this oyster pilsner is a marvelous maritime treat.
